We believe that to love wine is always, really, to love people. Wine brings people together. Think of your happiest memories. The likelihood is that wine will have been on the table.
Making great wine, therefore, is an act of love.
The vineyards rest in the foothills of the Stellenbosch mountains, five kilometres away from, and in sight of, the Atlantic Ocean. In the afternoons, a gentle breeze from False Bay rustles the vines, cooling the grapes that ripen in the morning and late afternoon sun. Our unique terroir is made up of a variety of soils, including the region’s native ‘koffie klip’ (literally, ‘coffee rock’), a soil rich in iron that produces wines with a fresh crispness and elegance.

Sauvignon Blanc
Bright and refreshing, with notes of lemongrass, papaya, and greengage, this wine is a fresh take on a Cape classic. A touch of Semillon rounds it off with softness and depth.
Dry Rosé
A crisp, dry and quietly complex wine of a pale salmon colour. Layers of strawberry, melon and fynbos unfold with each sip of this Shiraz, Semillon and Viognier blend.
Syrah
Aged in small French barrels for twelve months, this wine is a deep ruby colour and has aromas of dark plum, spice and a touch of prosciutto. It is plush and savoury on the palate with a smooth, generous finish.
Sauvignon Blanc Sparkling Wine
A perfect lunchtime celebration wine with aromas of gooseberry, lime, melons, and passion fruit. Traditionally fermented and disgorged after 11 months to create a crisp, light and refreshing taste that makes this wine truly unique.
Monogram is our flagship range of more sophisticated and matured wines. It is inspired by Jack, our first sheepdog, who watched over the farm before we arrived and is part of its DNA. His spirit lives on in this wine: noble, timeless, and much loved by us all.
The Monogram range is where viticulture and our unique terroir are given true expression. We believe that great wines are made in the vineyard, and so cut no corners. We are patient, making sure each wine receives the time and care it requires to develop its full potential. The wines are gently aged in a combination of new and old oak to produce a smooth, warm feel of elegance and grace.
Shiraz
A full-bodied red with layers of dark fruit, Belgian chocolate, spice, white pepper, and a touch of espresso. Aged in new and old oak for sixteen months, and matured in the bottle for another sixteen months, this wine is bold, smooth and confidently structured.
Pinot Noir
Raspberry, cassis and a hint of buchu on the nose. Silky texture, elegant structure and just enough oak to frame the fruit. A quiet standout from a cool climate.
Straw Wine
Made from air-dried Viognier grapes, this is a dessert wine with real intensity. Dried apricot, pineapple and a nutty, savoury edge come together in a long, golden finish.
This wine has won multiple awards, including the Michelangelo Double Gold award for the 2018 vintage.
Cap Classique
Golden in colour, with delicate bubbles and a crisp, dry finish, this wine is crafted using the traditional method and aged for fifteen months on the lees. It is made for celebrations, big or small.
